How to play?

If you’ve played Catapult Madness (hereafter will be named as ‘CM’) by Armor Games before, yes, Flapcraft’s game mechanism is roughly the same. However, it is more tasked based and more complex if compared to CM. To play Flapcraft, you just need to tap to start flying the character and thereafter controls him by rotating and adjusting your iPhone. If you master the skills to control the characters’ movement, you can easily win each and every task given. Besides that, there’s also rocket-pack that could be installed onto the slide of the character to boost it’s speed and to stay longer in the air. To activate the rocket-pack, tap and hold on to it (To stop and to maximise the usage, you may lift-up or un-hold).

Tips : To easily achieve the high speed tasks, fly your character up high and straight away fly down to take advantage of the gravity. To finish the final stage of the game, uses the gravity more to pick-up speed by tilting your character downwards and tilt-up before it reaches the down and boost the speed to assist your character in getting enough momentum (height) for the next drop. Keep repeating these steps and you’ll finish the game in no time!

Overview

Pros

1. Unique playing style compared to other same type of games.

2. It is addictive!

3. Simple and attractive graphics.

Cons

1. The game is rather short if you’re an easy learner like me.

2. The last stage is rather tough, players might lose hope and quit.

3. The meters installed seems to be of little use compared to the others. Some emphasis should be used to signals the importance of the meters. Suggestions might be to control the speed to maintain contral (This would mean that if the character travels at a certain range of speed the handling of it would be better compared to a faster speed).
