How to play?

Yes, it is another iPhone game produced by Halfbrick. It’s Barry again! Jetpack Joyride is something like Monster Dash (By Halfbrick too). However, Jetpack Joyride is more tasked or you could say, mission-based, if you compare it to Monster Dash. Besides, it is like the simplest game ever. You just need to know how to avoid the so-called Zappers (The yellow laser) and kill (Use the jetpack’s machines gun) the scientists that strolls around the ground floor. Oh ya, don’t forget the missiles and the red lasers (You’ll have 2-3 seconds to avoid them, be alert!). To utilize the jetpack, just tap and hold onto anywhere on the screen.

Tips : Aim for the rainbow color thingy if you can (You’ll be equipped with vehicles that can help you avoid, collect or even run further!). Purchase ‘Head start’ or even ‘Final blast’ to assist you in getting further ahead.

Vehicles include :

1. Hog (Super fast motorbikes)

2. Stomper (A robot)

3. Teleporter (It seems to be the most useful vehicle of all for me as it can teleport and avoid things easily)

4. Bird (Do not tap and hold to fly the bird as it would not work. However, tap faster to fly it)

5. Gravity suit (You can walk on the roof)

6. Cuddles (A dragon. It would automatically fly up high, thus, tap to lower the dragon)

Overview

Pros

1. One-tap-to-play type of game. (Simple controls)

2. Very addictive!

3. There’s avatar upgrades that you might not see in Monster Dash.

Cons

1. You would not play the game for long as it is an endless type of game.

2. They tweak the game from Monster Dash to Jetpack Joyride. Thus, you would not be much attracted to the graphics as it is almost the same.

3. The game’s tasks are quite repetitive. New and more challenging mission should be included grab the players’ attention.
