MUFC knocked-out!
No, it’s not Manchester United Football Club. That’s what I thought at first when I saw MUFC team name in Dota 2 Tournament organized by Gamescom. It’s actually Malaysia’s DotA (Defense of the Ancients) team if you don’t know about it. The tourney happened few days ago and along the way MUFC has tried hard to compete with International players especially during the Loser’s Bracket knockout-stage (against ok.nv.int) but still luck is not on their side.
Sigh, it’s really a pity as they’ve gone so far and are coming back without anything. But look on the bright side! We’ve actually International gaming players in Malaysia! It’s like a breakthrough for us! DotA 2 might be a path for our Malaysia’s gaming-sport to heat up and I do believe more talents will turn up after what MUFC did. Better luck next time MUFC! What’s next? Probably we’ll be invited for a series of International League for gamers (Like badminton)? As a gamer, I really can’t wait for that day to come!
