Who would think some application about checking yourself into anywhere the Google map can locate you is a boom? Even Obama himself is using Foursquare to connect with people now. It feels wonderful when you check in somewhere and you got points to compete with your friends right? Check in some more you can actually become a virtual mayor in Foursquare itself. Yes, that is what attract everyone. Point system.
People think it is cute checking here, there and everywhere they go. Then, you can stalk your friend, probably go meet up or give them a surprise. But did you see the other side of the story? Strangers, might stalk you or even robbers. You’re actually telling them where you are so that they can rob you? Or you’re tell them you’re away for holidays so that your house will be empty and people can just break in and steal everything they want?
Don’t let yourself be vulnerable to crime, else crime won’t give you chances!
